Planning and Packing....yea right!

One day to go and the planning is fast and furious......OK not really. Yesterday I took those socks and the 10 pairs of underwear (you can't have enough clean underwear) and stuffed them in a bag. Then I got Denise to go to the Wildwood BBQ under the premise we would stay for a couple of hours....5 hours later we got home. Today....yup, the Rams game. Going to see Sam Bradfrod and the boys with Chris....Planning is over rated.

Denise has amazed me once again....Usually when traveling Denise brings a suit case the size of a dead Yak. Not only is it huge.....it's zebra stripped. Nothing says hoosier more than this nightmare. I have humped this carcass all over the states on many vacations. I was hoping that I would not have to explain the dead animal issue to customs. Well......Denise informed me that we are not going to check bags for this 10 day trip. She does not want to waste the hour or so in baggage claim. She gave me a duffel bag and herself this small roll on. As with most things, I just nod, no argument. I have no problem with it, but I can't believe the women with the Yak can do it. Well crazy as it sounds, she fit all of her clothes and chemicals in this one small bag. So remember....no comments on the blog about how she is wearing the same outfit every other day.

Austria Bound

Well we are finally booked to go to Austria. You would expect that on your first trip to Europe great attention to planning would be taking place.......Nope. We booked the flights on Monday, Hotels on Tuesday, Car rental on Wednesday (there is a whole other story on that issue) and we leave on this Monday. Denise is going wild trying to get ready and your humble blogger picked up a few pairs of socks today. I really didn't need them, but what the hell Denise ran out yesterday and picked up some new clothes....I felt left out. We are going to see our oldest daughter Taylor. She is abroad for the semester...I really can't say she is studying abroad....I could if you called studying; 4 classes, one of which never meets and the other three on Tue and Thursdays....No classes Mon, Wed and Fridays...cripes....what a life. More about the planning later in the weekend.....but first...Welcome Back Readers! Our trip will begin on Monday, Oct 1st, we will be hitting the runway at 10:30 am.
