Thanks for the 9 people who have voted so far in the poll on the right side of the blog. Yes there are 10 votes....I voted! Right now our poll does not look like what the national polls bear out. We are 60% McCain where as in the national polls Obama has a slight lead.
NOW...no double voting....we are on scout's honor...I wish Acorn was!!
As the election draws near, I will slowly expose my desires in a new President. Unfortunately, I do not believe I will get what I want either way. As I have stated many times, Obama is very scary....and by elimination leaves me McCain...the tallest midget.
CableGuy's desires....politically that is!!
Limited Role Government.
They should be involved in the following:
National Security and armed forces
Infrastructure
including the roads, National parks and electrical grid to name a few
Space Exploration
Education..State and Local Gvt only
Food safety
There are a few more....but they are all about a national focus....
What I would like for GVT to get out of....social services. They are no longer a short term safety net...they are a cluster screw up and does not promote self reliance.
Enough on one topic....
