Let's start by saying Happy Mother's day Big Lou!  I guess I started calling my mom Big Lou when I was a smart ass teenager.  My mom's a great lady.  Has a great sense of humor....she enjoyed her kids and has enjoyed seeing them grow into adults????  OK... my siblings are adults.  

Great Job Mom we all love you.

OK....what am I here on Sunday morning pulling out the soapbox......Big Oil.

I am a capitalist through and through....

So in bullet format here is my list of gripes...

Don't spend millions on the newly announced marketing campaign to have America understand you.  They will understand either lower prices at the pump or new technology that gets the US out of the stranglehold of the Middle East.  Getterdone ....

Congress...we do not need to give them tax breaks....cut the crap...I barely can get the Government to answer a tax question right!  Let them stand on their own.  The strong survive....and trust me they are strong.

On that note....wind fall profit tax....well that's just stupid.  GM is now losing it's shirt...what do we now prop them up....ooops forgot about Bear Sterns...OK maybe we will.  If you want to squeeze them....don't in the first place give them huge tax breaks....recall the tax breaks and let them "payback" the tax break when times are now...... not just good....but ridiculously great in profits.  If we had not given them tax breaks then I would be in the camp of....it's their profit...get your greedy little hands off of it.

We now have $4 a gallon prices.....it's finally starting to catch people's attention.  The poor Hummer dealer......what was he thinking.....I m sure they cannot give those monsters away.  With pricing at this level, things will change....good, bad or indifferent...they will change. I read public transportation is now up 50-60%.

So go call your mom...tell her She's the Best....
