Clinton and Obama are very scary....never mind the tallest midget in the group...McCain. At least with McCain we are getting some fiscal conservativeness.
I read this info this morning:
Much of the exchange Monday centered on proposals Clinton has embraced to give drivers some relief from soaring gas prices. Clinton pushed her plan for a summer suspension of the gasoline tax, which she would pay for with a windfall profit tax on oil companies.
I am not so upset about reducing the TAX on gasoline....OK the price is crazy high and most Americans are now really feeling the squeeze....but to say you are going to take it from private enterprise through a windfall tax is CRAZY. I also think giving huge tax breaks to very profitable markets is also crazy. Government....get out of both. I don't see us giving money to GM this week because their profits were non existent!! Why should we take from the companies making money? because they can?
How about anew concept......stop spending so much ....It's not your money and ....it's the people's money. Tax less and then spend less. PERIOD.
Windfall tax....that's like smacking your dog because it waited to pee outside instead of in your house.
Write your congressman and tell them to cut out the pork and lower spending.
