Mr "no pets" has been railroaded into accepting a "pet" Mel brought home a baby chick yesterday. I in fact had to drive her to school early one day last week so she could be first in line to "adopt" one of the 20 chicks available. It was worse then trying to get Hannah Montana tickets.... Anyway.....Oliver has been with us for less the 24 hours....he chirps likes crazy...and unlike a bunny that gives you pellet surprise...chick s#@t is just that.......he needs some fiber if you know what I mean. He/She (they can't tell yet..they tell me) has flown the coop twice already and has done his duty on the floor...... We are only keeping the chick for 3 weeks. I am sure by then she will be a Chicken and will be pecking us pretty good. The cuteness will wear off and we will move back to our "no pet" domicile! Take a look!
