If you are following along with Denise's photos on Facebook , today you will see her post pictures of our hike yesterday. Yes....we are still hiking. I have been sick so we did the Pete side of the vacation for the past 2 days....One day it was rainy so we just hung around and the next it was sunny so we laid out listened to music and soaked up the sun. That was my kind of day. Still a little under the weather, I was starting to feel bad for "ant's in her pants" Denise. She wanted to hike the little trail of the Path Of Gods.
OK, so we go.....1:10 we start the climb.....at 5:30 we are back in town. With close to 10 miles and 5,000 stairs.....this was no small hike. The pictures do no justice to the beauty and.....danger. We had to be up about 2,000 feet, hiking along 2 foot wide paths that on one side is a mountain and the other a cliff. There were times on the climb up we were on all 4's climbing up.
Throughout the day we must of run across 40 people on the trail. It's been fun stopping and gritching with others on how hard this hike was.
OH and for you new readers....gritching....you may be asking what the word means?....
While we were in Prague....when tensions were high ....driving around trying to find our hotel....I was doing my normal bitching and griping. Denise termed my new level of craziness as Gritching.
