Our Respite is over and we have had a wonderful time exploring Seattle. Michael and May Beth have really been outstanding hosts. Chris really had a great time with his "little brother" Clayton. Clayton is 5 and Chris really enjoyed being the big brother for the weekend. Sunday they went to the Science Center together.
Taylor came home last night......home is an interesting term....home top the family. Her flight was delayed and then redirected into Salt Lake....so my idea of her having a direct flight did not work out. She finally made it into Seattle at midnight. I need to go and get her out of bed right now.
We are off to Forks Washington today.....why Forks? Have you not read Twilight? Ask your kids...they probably have! Anyway, this is the number #1 spot the kids wanted to go. Forks is the basis for a book that they love. Michael tells me that there is nothing there....but here we go!
We will run the Washington coast today stopping over in Astoria Oregon tonight. Should be a Dr. Pepper day with only 6 1/2 hours asleep and 8 hours to drive!
